ONE SOLVED PROBLEM. Assignment 1 ( 10 marks) Students should submit one worked example (both question and solution) taken from Sessions 4, 6 and 7. See Work Examples as a guide. Deadline
Date: On or Before 12th November, 2011 Note: (a) being successful in Math is directly
related to the amount of practice that you get while solving problems. Getting into the
habit of solving Math problems (b) after
reviewing your solved problem, it will be added to the worked examples
so that other students can benefit. (c) your questions and answers will be added to the Worked
Examples to help other students. (d) submitting solved problems will demonstrate that you have
acquire the particular math skills and this will help build your confidence; WRITING TIPS The
problem submitted should be new problems you have created.
Use examples given by your lecturer or those found in your textbooks or
on the internet as a guide. Simply change the numbers, signs etc and
follow the steps shown to solve your new problem. Marks will be awarded based on
the accuracy of your solution and the skills tested. CAN I
SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE PROBLEM PER SESSION? Yes. You are free to submit as many solved
problems as you wish. The more practice you get at problem-solving the better
you will become at Math. |
